Pulse and Breaths Per Minute Calculator for Android Wear devices

***THIS IS FOR WEAR DEVICES ONLY, NOT FOR PHONES***This is a very simple app that is used for taking someones pulse or calculating their breaths per minute. To use it:To take a pulse, use your watch hand to find the pulse on the desired part of the body. Using your free hand, tap the top half of the screen. Count 10 beats. After counting, tap again to reveal the beats per minute. To calculate breaths per minute, tap the bottom half of the screen. Count 2 breaths. After counting, tap again to reveal the breaths per minute (marked as vpm for ventilation). If the vpm is between 8 and 28, it will be green, otherwise it will be red, indicating a problem. Note that it may display 8 or 28 but still be red. In these cases, the number was rounded, i.e. it may have been 7.5.Thats it!If you like the app, please visit the XDA thread that started it all and let me know what you think!http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-360/themes-apps/ems-pulse-app-t3027275Update for Wear OS

Great app, and appreciate the instructions in the play store. Could use some instructions in the app too though. The 10 beats, or 2 breaths, isn't intuitive. Some text on the place you tap telling you what to do would be great.

Roger Heward

Reliable, works exactly as advertised. I use it daily.

If it's for android wear only why is my phone listed as compatible when I install the app?

Konstantin Ku

Does exactly what it says it should. Basic but useful.

UPDATE: These reviews were recently accused of being fake. Myself and the other guy are members of XDA Developers, where this app started. If you think the reviews are still take, try it for yourself. It's simple, accurate and does exactly what you need it to do.

Works perfectly, simple and accurate. Helps save time in situations where every second counts. Highly recommended for all EMS, medical students and nurses alike. Thank you!
